[Link] What did you use for communications while sailing? Did you have a satellite phone? We have a laptop, while we are at sea, do you have any suggestions for internet access ( I know this can get vastly expensive, where do you draw the line at spending?). A further simple question. In the the Caribbean, what is the best way to clean fruit & vegetables? I am really looking forward to the markets, but am skeptical about the flies that may (or may not) be crawling over them....

First Wind-Powered Ferry Planned for San Francisco Bay
Wind+Wing Technologies today announced plans to build the nation's first winged and wind-assisted ferry vessel for public use in the San Francisco Bay Area. The fuel saving design could save up to 40 percent of the fuel costs compared to the ferries currently operating in the Bay Area.
